Meeting the requirements for health certificates for domestic or international travel can be stressful and difficult!  We are here to help.  Our experience can save you countless hours and great frustration.  As licensed USDA-accredited veterinarians, we are authorized to examine animals requiring health certificates for travel or sale.  Pets that are traveling across state lines and internationally are required to have a health certificate signed by a USDA certified veterinarian within 10 days of travel, however, the process often times does not start only 10 days before travel.

For international travel some countries require vaccinations and diagnostics be completed 2-6 months in advance, and it is on you to be prepared for these things, but we will be here to help guide you.  If you are planning to move or travel domestically or internationally with your pet anytime in the next 6-12 months please call us at (719) 593-8582 as soon as possible to set up a consult with one Dr. Lisenbee.   We will help guide you through this process to ensure that you will be able to satisfy all the requirements for travel within the U.S. and travel or re-location to foreign lands.

If you would like to get a head start before your consultation with us on the requirements for specific countries please go to and follow the prompts to the specific destination’s requirements.
