Medical Care Boarding

Many of our clients have older pets or pets with special needs, which are on various medications for non-contagious illness. We provide a seamless transition between the hospital staff doctors and technicians and the boarding kennel staff to provide a superior delivery of service for those pets with special needs which are under our care.

The kennel at Northwest Animal Hospital maintains high standards with regards to admission so that all pets, as well as our staff, are protected from potential contagious illness. All pets must be current on vaccinations or receive them upon admission to our kennel. Dogs must have a negative stool specimen within the last six months and be free of fleas and ticks. By admitting your pet to our kennel you must agree to allow our staff to update the required vaccinations and fecal for the continued safety of all if according to records they are needed. Our kennel has a sterling reputation which we desire to maintain.

Many owners find that during boarding it is a convenient time to provide other healthcare such as teeth cleanings or other services that the hospital provides. To ensure that your pet receives the care requested please provide a phone number where you may be reached, or pre-authorize services during the check-in process. A fee estimate for care must be provided so that you know what to expect.
