What does an AAHA Accredited animal hospital mean for me and my pets?
The American Animal Hospital
Association (AAHA) is a voluntary member organization that has established standards of care and accredits small animal
hospitals and veterinary hospitals throughout the U.S. & Canada. An AAHA accredited animal hospital is a peer reviewed hospital which strives to adhere to
these very high standards in quality of care. To maintain voluntary membership requires inspection by a board to ensure that the standards are met and maintained. Only 15% of veterinary practices qualify to become members.
